Good results on the occasion of the first WSK Master at La Conca. Victories in KFJunior and
Mini categories

• The first round of the season highlights the high potential of both our material and our Racing Team.

• In KFJunior and in 60 mini category winners are two Tony Kart chassis. Alessio Lorandi and Kush Maini

• Several drivers running a Tony Kart fought for the success in KF and KFJunior

• In KF category Basz stops not far from the success. Sargeant ends with a seventh place after a great recovery. Kasai and Chang are dogged by ill fortune but their chance to recover is coming on next week on the occasion of the Winter Cup

• In KF Junior Betsch has his debut in WSK gaining an impressive fourth place

• Tony Kart-Vortex is winner in Junior category with the “private” driver Lorandi

• Protagonists’ opinions: Giacomo Aliprandi (Team Manager), Karol Basz (driver) and Dalton Sargeant (driver)

The first round of the WSK Master Series was useful to evaluate the training conditions of our drivers and to
give important details to our Racing Team about the performances of our new technical material. After the
demanding competition held on the Italian circuit, the response was completely positive and even though the
final ranking of KF class is not confirming this, the performances shown by our drivers, our staff and our
material let us think about the future with optimism. Such good impression comes from both our drivers’
performances, top in the list Karol Basz in KF, but also from the considerable number of drivers at the drive of
a Tony Kart chassis gaining the top positions of KF, KFJunior and 60 Mini categories. A further confirmation is
given by the several successes conquered by the “private” drivers Alessio Lorandi in KFJunior and Kush Maini
in the 60 Mini. We were officially engaged in the latest Italian WSK round for KF and KFJunior categories,
moreover very good results were achieved in the Mini class, with an exciting success of Kush Maini (Baby
race team).

KF. The weekend unfortunately saw the way out of the latest driver arrived, Karol Basz, who stopped at the
last round after having firmly led the race, due to an electrical breakdown. By the way his impressive
performance as well as the Racing Team’s are not damaged. Basz during the heats always got the first three
positions, and also signed a best lap (heat A-D with 46.574) and won the pre-final. The unlucky end is just
misfortune and this not invalidate the very good impression made by our technical material. The other entrant
driver of our Racing Team, Dalton Sargeant, fully gave prove to be fast and a high-quality driver. It is quite
clear that he has real chances to enter soon the list of the best drivers. Sargeant, after having reached a third
and sixth place, had to face with an inconvenience in the third heat which made him lose several positions in

the pre-final starting grid. And the bad luck also followed Sargeant in the pre-final, forcing him to stop
immediately. But in the final he soon released and thanks to decisive overtaking and fast laps Sargeant could
recover from the thirty-fourth to the seventh place with a best lap in race 46.381, like top drivers do. Andy
Chang and Takashi Kasai began their debut of the season with not few collisions. For this reason they were
both prevented from obtaining an important result. Chang was twice involved in some accidents and had to
recover during the final phase of the competition and the Macao driver was finally out in the final. The same
as for Takashi Kasai, eighth after the heats and author of the best lap of 46.472. Kasai achieved the thirteenth
place in the pre-final but stopped in the final.

KF Junior. The debut in WSK of the young driver Mick Betsch was promising. After gaining the twenty-fifth
timing during the qualifying the young Betsch constantly improved during the heats, reaching the seventh
position in the pre-final (B). In the final, Betsch performed a decisive and precise competition, crossing the
finishing line fifth (he then got the fourth place for a penalty given to the third driver in rankings, Fewtrell). In
KFJunior category Tony Kart-Vortex supremacy was highlighted by two important events. The undisputed
success of the Italian Alessio Lorandi (Baby Race team) and the huge number of our chassis running for the
fight to the success. On the podium, other than Lorandi, there was also the British driver Lando Norris, at the
drive of a FA Kart-Vortex (Ricky Flynn Motorsport); moreover the number of chassis manufactured in our
factory, attending the final was 50% (seventeen) of the total number of chassis at the starting grid. And many
of the seventeen fought for the victory.

Protagonists’ opinions:

Giacomo Aliprandi. Team Manager of Tony Kart Racing Team
"We could test our material’s quality. Even though our rivals, like us, aren’t at their top yet, we saw that we
own good working material and on next months we will develop any component at best, in synergy with
Vortex, of course."

Dalton Sargeant. Tony Kart Racing Team – KF driver
"I am satisfied with my first time with the team and the new KF category. I realized I can be very competitive. I
still have to do a lot of work but I have good chances to obtain good results, so I do not care about the bad
luck I had at La Conca. WSK Euro and CIK competitions are much important than it."

Karol Basz. Tony Kart Racing Team – KF driver
"I am sorry for my way out, I was thinking about my victory and….. I wished to succeed for the team on the
occasion of my first competition with Tony Kart. Technical material is well-performing and we are competitive,
we have to work hard to take advantage of the material we own at best."
